Aug 27, 2015 · You can buy the Polaris clutch spring compression tool (Product No.: PV-45032) or build one yourself. Not too complicated, but worth having around if you plan on doing this again. Other than that, some metric allen wrenches, socket set and a Torx set is all you'll need for tools. Don't forget to get a new primary gasket, it's a must.
Make sure they line up before installing clutch to compressor shaft. Offer up clutch install tool. The front of the tool (blue arrow) screws over the threads of the exposed 9/16-inch shaft stud (yellow arrow).
With the screws removed, simply space 2 pieces of wood slightly farther apart than the helix, then, lightly rap the secondary downward onto the pieces of wood. The helix will fall right out. You're also gonna need a set of snap ring pliers and LOL a good set of hands if you don't have some sort of spring compressor tool. Good Luck.
